Personal Fitness Training

We provide personal and professional fitness training using 1-on-1 (solo coaching) or 1-on-2 (tandem coaching) methods. Using state-of-the-art training techniques and equipment, our nationally certified fitness trainers will give purpose and direction to your program.  Your goals are our priority.

 The Process

  1. Select a suitable trainer via “Trainer Bios”.  If unsure of the best person for your needs, simply call 804.433.8555 and ask for a recommendation - we are happy to help!

  2. Call your selected trainer to schedule your initial consult.  As we are an appointment only facility, trainers may be too busy for walk-in consultations.

  3. Download the "Client Pack" from the "Forms" section of our website.  Fill these out as completely as posisble and bring them to your initial consultation.

  4. After the initial meeting with your trainer, you will have the option to pay for and schedule your sessions.

  5. First sessions are intended for physical bench-mark testing and training protocol familiarization.

  6. GO TO WORK!!!

The Commitment

As a personal training client, your individual results are directly related to your level of commitment and dedication to the process.  Therefore when enlisting the services of one of our trainers, the expectations of you are as follows:

  • Arrive on time. If you are early or unless otherwise instructed, you will be expected to wait in the lobby. Earlier starts may interrupt the training of previously scheduled clients.

  • If you are late, it will be left to the trainer to either extend your training session, or terminate the session on time. If after 15 minutes of tardiness and without client notification, a trainer can assume you are a “no show” and terminate the session.

  • Always sign in at the front desk. This is for accounting purposes.

  • Hydrate your body prior to arrival. If more than a two to three hours have passed from the time of your last meal, you should have some form of healthy energy snack prior to training.

  • Be consistent with any additional “carry-over” or non-studio training that your trainer expects of you.

 
Cancellation Policy

Trainers will generally require at least a 24 hour notice for any cancellation.  Please confirm this with your trainer.  Each timeslot is valuable to a trainer so please be respectful of his/her time.
