What is Nutrition Consulting?

Eating well is one of the most important components in any exercise program.  Without the proper fuel your body needs, it becomes significantly more difficult to drop weight, gain energy or improve your overall fitness level and performance.

At BOOST, we pride ourselves in giving each client the one-on-one attention they deserve in both fitness training as well as nutritional guidance.  Our Nutrition Coach will assess your current diet, evaluate your individual short and long term weight and fitness goals, and then recommend dietary improvements based on these goals.  We’ll work with you to create a personalized strategy that fits into your life and guides you in achieving your desired results.

Who are good candidates?

Nutrition Coaching is a great tool for anyone wishing to reevaluate his or her diet as it relates to weight loss, improving fitness performance, or eating properly for long-term health and wellness.  We can help individuals who are frustrated with a scale that won’t budge, those desiring more energy, or people who need help planning and following a diet tailored to assist with food allergies, high cholesterol or high blood pressure.

How can it help me?

Many “mass” dietary guidelines and weight loss strategies do not account for day-to-day schedules, lifestyles, and specific fitness goals.  Personalized Nutrition Coaching is tailored specifically to your individual needs.

We can help you learn why certain foods are better nutritional choices, how to read food labels, or how to choose healthier meals when dining out.  Our Nutrition Coach can also work with you to create a customized meal plan based on your personal food preferences, or we can even accompany you on a grocery store visit!  Each session is tailored specifically to address your personal dietary concerns.
